We took a boat trip on Lake Chelan on the Lady of the Lake II. Lake Chelan is about 50 miles long. We left at 8:30 AM and arrived at the beginning of the lake at 12:30 PM. The mountains and the homes along the way were really spectacular. Upon arriving at Sthekin we took a bus ride up to Rainbow Falls. We arrived back at the town of Chelan around 6:15 PM. It was a long day on the water but very enjoyable. There are usually Bighorn Sheep, mule deer and bear sightings along the way but today there were none. Guess we have to go to the zoo if we want to see animals. We celebrate July 4th at Crescent Bar tomorrow and then off the La Connor, Wa. You can click on any picture and it will become larger.
