I signed us all up for a casino run to Laughlin, Nevada. $15 each with one free buffet. A 4 hour trip via bus leaving at 7am, arriving 11:30am and return trip arriving around midnight. We did the buffet, then our friend Margaret from Bullhead City, AZ joined us and away we went in her car to Oatman, AZ. An old mining town on old Route 66; now a tourist destination with lots of shops. The miners just left their burros loose when the mining dried up. The burros are a main attraction now. You can buy carrots to feed them or bring your own. A very interesting place. We had time to eat dinner at Del Taco, then 45 minutes to gamble, then back on the bus for the ride home.
